Advent at Renovation
Join us for 40 days of prayer and fasting
What is Advent?
Advent, observed from December 1st through December 24th, is a season where we pause, reflect, and prepare for the arrival of Jesus, the Light of the World. Over four weeks, we focus on themes of peace, joy, love, and hope, each one drawing us closer to the true meaning of Christmas. As we journey together, Advent offers us a sacred space to renew our hearts and deepen our faith.
How to Prepare for Advent
40 Days of Prayer and Fasting
Beginning November 15th, join us for a 40 day journey of prayer and fasting that will carry us into Advent on December 1st. This practice helps us center our hearts and minds, creating space to grow spiritually in anticipation of Christmas. Whether you are new to fasting or a regular practitioner, we welcome you to be part of this time of devotion.
Choose a Fast
Select a fasting style that feels right for you—consider skipping a meal or giving up certain foods or alcohol.
Focus Your Prayers
Use daily themes or Bible verses to guide your prayer time. Take a few moments each day to connect with God and reflect on His promises.
Observe Rest Days
Each Saturday and Sunday, we invite you to take a break from fasting and spend time in worship, fellowship, rest, and feasting.
Worship Through Advent
Experience the peace and joy of Advent through our playlist of hymns and worship songs, created to lift your spirit and remind you of the hope we have in Christ. Listen as you reflect, pray, and prepare your heart for Christmas.
Stay Engaged
Stay connected with our community throughout Advent. Let’s grow together in faith as we worship Christ.
Daily Online Prayer
Join us for a time of guided, online prayer as we unite in faith and reflection this Advent season. All are welcome!
